Danang, a well-known tourism hub in Central Vietnam to fully reopen aviation post Covid with the two first international commercial flights from Singapore and Thailand on March 27th after nearly two years of closure.
To boost tourism and economic recovery post Covid pandemic, authorities in Danang decided to resume all international flight routes to and from the city in late March.

Danang International Airport will firstly welcome the flight from Singapore operated by Singapore Airlines and another flight from Bangkok by Thai Vietjet scheduled on March 27th. Other flight routes Kuala Lumpur – Danang and Bangkok – Danang run by Air Asia will be reopened on April 1st. The flight route Singapore – Danang operated by Jetstar Asia is also expected to reopen on April 10th.
With all efforts, Danang attempts to recover the pre-pandemic aviation level with 31 international flights this year.
Vietnam already fully reopened for inbound tourism on March 15th and allowed foreign tourists to enter Vietnam without quarantine. The visa exemption policy for 13 countries was also resumed.
