The city department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism gave permission for many major tourist attractions and relics to reopen on Monday under certain pandemic prevention measurements.

To be more specific, a wide range of tourist landmarks and heritage sites namely Hanoi Temple of Literature, Thang Long Imperial Citadel, and Hoa Lo Prison resumed operation from Monday. Also, Hoan Kiem Pedestrian Street was reopened for visitors last Friday. Besides, the renowned Huong Pagoda Festival in My Duc District also commenced from the beginning of the lunar year. All tourist sites must be disinfected before welcoming tourists back.

At present, tourists to Vietnam, in general, and Hanoi, in particular, must adhere to some Covid-19 safety measures including being fully vaccinated and having a negative quick test result (within 24 hours) or PCR test (within 72 hours).
